Revegetation Program Underway at Hillside Mooloolah Valley: A Step Towards a Sustainable Future
If you’ve been thinking about spending more of 2025 focusing on healthy living and feeling good, our local community has everything you need to get started! Mooloolah Valley has some of the best fitness activities you can find. Whether enjoying the fresh air on a picturesque, family friendly walking trail is what you’re looking for or getting your sweat on in some of the best group fitness classes is more your thing, there’s plenty of options in our local area.
Boronia Trail
The Boronia Trail is a perfect option for the whole family. It’s a great, mid-distanced walking track amongst the Mooloolah River National Park that gives you the option to spot some wildlife and enjoy beautiful scenery of the tall scribbly gum forest whilst getting the legs moving. It’s approximately 2.4km one way so it is best to allow around 3 hours as your walking time.
Aemula Trail
For a shorter option that will still give you a solid workout, the Aemula Trail should be your go-to. Whilst only a distance of approximately 1.3km one way, this trail has elevation along the way to help get your sweat on. It’s a quick round-trip with beautiful views of the Mooloolah Valley area with rainforest and eucalypt woodlands throughout. To keep things moving, you also have the option of extending your walk onto the Boronia or Melaleuca trails as they are all connected.

Located in the heart of Mooloolah Valley, All in One Fitness Centre offers exactly that – all the fitness options you could need in one easy location. The centre features a mix of group fitness, yoga and strength training classes. If classes aren’t for you or you are looking to fit in a workout amongst a busy work schedule, it also includes a 24/7 gym floor where you can tailor a workout to what you are looking for, with support from the friendly trainers if you need it.
Pilates with Gaby Shadforth
If lifting weights isn’t for you and a bit of mind and body connection is more what you’re looking for in 2025, Pilates with Gaby in Mooloolah Valley is the way to go. Lead instructor and founder Gaby Shadforth has over 9 years of instructing experience and has begun her own studio on a mission to help locals feel empowered, strong, and reduce body aches and pains. Gaby runs a mixture of mat and reformer pilates classes throughout the week, specialised men’s reformer sessions, a mums & bubs class, as well as private and semi-private options. Located in the heart of town, Gaby’s studio is the perfect place to kick off a new pilates journey.
