With Halloween swiftly approaching, we’re bubbling with anticipation to share the ultimate Halloween guide with our Hillside residents! 

Events:
Aussie World Halloween FestEvil Harvest Moon 
When: 27th to 29th October 5pm-10pm 
Where: 73 Frizzo Rd, Palmview QLD 4553
What: Brace yourself for fireworks, unlimited rides, 3 horror mazes, and spine-tingling horror entertainment. Tickets at $45 each, and the little ones under 3 get in free! 

Kids Halloween Party 
When: Friday 27th October from 4pm
Where: Golden Beach Tavern 
What: Dive into a world of fun with games, a jelly-eating extravaganza, a fierce best-dressed competition, and fabulous face painting.

Costumes:

• There are plenty of awesome and affordable costumes at local shops, but get in early to secure the best costumes. 
• If you don’t have time to get to the shops, Amazon has some amazing costumes available for delivery. For the little ones, try a pumpkin suit or ghost outfit, for the older kids, a Wednesday Addams or Spiderman costume are among our favourites. 

Trick or Treat Tips:

• If you plan on trick or treating make sure to speak with your neighbours first about who is participating and be respectful of those who aren’t. 
• Ensure you only provide and consume treats with wrappers. 
• Trick or treating generally occurs on Halloween evening (Tuesday 31st October) between 5.30pm and 8.00pm.
