Christmas and the New Year is fast approaching, no matter how you celebrate this time of year we have pulled together some local events where you can spend some time with your friends or family and embrace the holiday spirit. 

Events

UniSC – Christmas by Candlelight

When: Sunday 3 December – 5:00 PM

Where: Mooloolah Public Hall 

What: Join in the festive cheer at this free community concert event, where you can sing along and enjoy the holiday spirit! 

Christmas Open Air Cinema Night

When: Saturday 9 December (Open from 6 PM with film starting 6:50 PM)

Where: Mooloolah Recreation Ground 

What: Bring your own rug or camp chair, indulge in delicious offerings from food trucks, and enjoy a screening of “Elliot – The Little Reindeer” under the sky. 

Christmas Lights Switch On 

When: Friday 15 December from 5:00 PM

Where: Mooloolah Valley Community Centre

What: Experience the Christmas magic with free face painting, a sausage sizzle, the announcement of this year’s winners of the Mooloolah Valley Christmas lights competition, a countdown to the dazzling Christmas lights switch on, and Christmas carols!
